Attention Baseball Players!

All Claremont High students interested in playing baseball for the Wolfpack in 2010-2011 should plan on attending a special meeting with Coach Jackson and other members of the coaching staff early during the school year. The date, time and location will be announced.

The meeting is open to all CHS students interested in playing baseball, including those new to the program and those who played in previous years. Among the topics that will be covered are fall baseball, athletic clearance forms, practice schedules, speed and strength training and player information questionnaires. The coaches will be happy to answer any questions, too.

Anyone interested in playing must first complete their athletic clearance form and turn it into the ASB office for approval. Players must have their athletic physical exams before participating in fall baseball practices and games. For more information, please visit the Claremont High website athletics page.

Claremont High intends to field three fall baseball teams. Two teams of younger players, consisting primarily of freshmen and sophomores, will participate in the Southern California Winter Baseball Association league. A team consisting of seniors and juniors will play games against other local teams, but not in a league format. More information will follow at the meeting and during the fall.
