Uniform Return, Team Meetings
All three Claremont High baseball teams will have quick meetings at the varsity field after school on Friday, May 14, to allow ALL players and coaches to turn in their uniforms. The meetings will be held after seventh period on Friday.
Uniform collection will begin at the end of sixth period on Friday (1:47 p.m.) at the varsity field. Players who have a seventh period class can bring their uniforms then.
ALL players and coaches must bring their own uniforms. Players cannot turn in other players' uniforms. ALL uniforms must be washed. Players will be held accountable for the condition of the uniforms. There will be a $10 cleaning fee for every uniform piece that must be cleaned.
Players and coaches are expected to return both the white uniform set (jersey and pants) and gray uniform set (jersey and pants). Players and coaches who were issued a maroon jersey to wear during the season are responsible for turning those in as well (those are the maroon uniforms that have not been personalized with a name on the back).
Please remember that anyone who does not turn in their uniform, or who turns in uniforms that are damaged beyond reasonable baseball wear and tear, will be charged. The bill will be
given to the ASB office, and each player will be placed on the delinquency
list. Students on the delinquency must pay all fines prior to
participating in activities at CHS. Students on the list are not able to
participate in any ASB activity or attend events until the
bill is paid. Seniors will not be eligible to walk at graduation until the bill
is paid. Players with unreturned uniforms or outstanding bills will not be able
to attend the baseball awards banquet. Please see the attached policy for more details.
